My name is Bledar, I was born in Durres, where I fell in love with the sea, thanks also to the passion that my father, a colonel in the Albanian Navy, passed on to me. That’s where I started to love this world, to get passionate about sailing. Once I moved to Italy, I enjoyed the sea as a holiday and that was it until 2006, when I decided to go and study in the Canary Islands, where I took my first steps into the world of sailing. There I started taking part in regattas: good waves… challenging ones that were a good school for me. Let’s say I haven’t stopped since then. During the year I continued my studies in Economics and Management and during the summer season I took part in various regattas, wanting more and more to turn my passion into my job, my future job. A few years later I started to work in the charter world, gaining experience on various types of boats. Having obtained my unlimited licence, in 2013 I fulfilled my dream of crossing the Atlantic thanks to the Arc and a crew of Australians who believed in my abilities. Well, I still cuddle their flag with the autographs they gave me once the crossing was over. After that crossing, I started to sail between the coasts of Croatia, Greece, Aeolian Islands, Sardinia, Corsica and the various islands of the Tyrrhenian Sea. In 2016 I achieved my dream of being able to become an owner and take care of the boat, knowing it in all its details. Once I let go of the moorings, I begin to breathe in that scent of freedom as I enjoy a sunset, never the same and never ordinary. I close my eyes and begin to dream. Yes, dreaming… where everything is possible!
